Artista brasileiro vivenciou uma temporada nos vinhedos da Ruinart
O brasileiro Vik Muniz é o artista escolhido deste ano pela Maison Ruinart para apresentar sua visão do terroir e do savoir-faire da Maison de Champagne. Durante sua residência artística, que aconteceu na vindima (outubro de 2018), Vik Muniz passou um longo período nos vinhedos da Maison, em Reims, lado a lado de Frédéric Panaïotis, Chef de Cave de Ruinart.
Durante o processo de vivência nas propriedades de Ruinart, o artista criou a Limited Edition Jeroboam by Vik Muniz, uma imponente obra de arte. Composta de uma caixa de madeira com a imagem que o artista projetou como parte de suas obras para a Maison – de pedaços de madeira enegrecida e carvão – é acompanhada da garrafa Jeroboam (3 litros) do champagne Ruinart Blanc de Blancs. Cada uma das 30 exemplares numerados tem a assinatura do artista, tornando-a um exclusivo objeto de design e decoração.
