Para o próximo Ano Novo Chinês, a partir de 25 de janeiro de 2020, o Diretor Criativo da Gucci, Alessandro Michele, comemorará o Ano do Rato com uma coleção especialmente projetada de itens que apresentam o True Original de Walt Disney, Mickey Mouse. A coleção foi lançada em 3 de janeiro de 2020 nas lojas e on-line.
Esta coleção é o centro das atenções em uma nova campanha registrada pelo fotógrafo e diretor Harmony Korine e estrelada pela embaixadora Gucci e atriz Ni Ni, pelo ator Earl Cave e pela designer, estilista e poeta Zoë Bleu. As imagens retratam uma narrativa lúdica que segue Mickey Mouse em sua rotina diária na Disneyland.
As imagens coloridas e cheias de energia têm a aparência de cartões postais de férias, e o espírito eclético e surreal da Gucci de hoje está perfeitamente à vontade no mundo de fantasia da Disneyland. Através da lente característica de Harmony Korine, é fácil ver como a Disneyland inspira um senso de diversão infantil e desinibido.
As peças da coleção especial do Ano Novo Chinês que apresentam a lona Mini GG Supreme com estampa do Mickey Mouse incluem bolsas, pequenos artigos de couro, bagagem e sapatos femininos e masculinos. Para o prêt-à-porter feminino, o tema foi desenvolvido para inúmeros estilos, enquanto para a moda masculina há estampas coloridas, motivos jacquard e retalhos bordados com o Mickey Mouse aparecendo por toda a parte. Entretenimento sob medida também estará disponível no Gucci App e em várias fachadas Gucci Pin, digitalmente trazendo o personagem Mickey Mouse para a vida dos clientes e transeuntes, que podem ver-se usando a marca registrada do Mickey Mouse, suas orelhas, na tela, que foi concebida como se fosse um espelho encantado.
